Urban Sprawl

A measurement method complements the intuitive assessment of urban sprawl with measurable criteria.

Project Datacenter Nature and Landscape (DNL)

We combine existing federal object inventories (peatlands, floodplains, etc.) in one database and link them to other FOEN data centres.

Long-term Forest Ecosystem Research (LWF)

In the LWF programme, we investigate the effects of climate change and pollution on forests.
