3 categories for forms in the TPO3 backend

Overview

  1. In the "Forms" section, copy and paste the template form and adapt it to your requirements (delete fields, add fields).
  2. The template is already translated into all 4 languages. If new fields are added, these must be translated again in "Forms L10N".
  3. The sent form contents can be exported in the "Form log" section.

Middle column: Delete and add fields. Attention: new fields may have to be translated into the other languages in the Forms L10N section

right column: Customize e-mail addresses and confirmation texts in the finisher

Set "Finisher"

Right column

The finishers are already preset.
1) "E-mail to recipient" finisher
Subject: Here you can enter the placeholders e.g. {firstname} of the form sender or just free text. Enter the e-mail address and name (here: TEST) of the form creator.
Do not change the sender's address (no-reply@wsl.ch) here! Sender's name: Free text
Reply-to recipient: is created with "placeholders". The placeholder is entered in curly brackets. So the name and e-mail address of the sender, by default {email} and {lastname}
Placeholder becomes visible when you move the mouse over the field.
2) Finisher e-mail to sender
Enter subject: Free text Recipient: Enter placeholder for email address and name of sender in {}. Default: {email} {lastname}
Do not change the sender's address no-reply@wsl.ch here. Name of the sender: Free text
3) Finisher confirmation message: enter uid= page ID of a prepared content element or a free text, which then appears below the submitted form.
4) Finisher: Log form data: do not change anything here, this finisher must simply be present.
